Privacy Policy
At BID & WIN (“we,” “our,” “us”), your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit bidandwin.com or use our services, including selling a vehicle to us or wholesaling vehicles. By using our site, you agree to the practices described here. This policy is written to reflect the requirements of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), and similar state privacy laws.

- Pickup or inspection location, if applicable
- Payout details needed to complete a purchase from you
- Any other details you submit through our contact forms or in conversation with our team
Information We Collect Automatically:
We also collect certain technical information when you interact with our website, such as pages visited, links clicked, approximate location, IP address, browser type, device information, and the date and time of your visit. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 9).
2. How We Use Your Information

- Communicate with you about your submission, offer, or inquiry
- Schedule inspections, pickups, or in-person visits

- Detect and prevent fraud, and protect our legal rights
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share information with:
- Service providers who support our operations, such as transportation, title or inspection services, payment processing, and website hosting
- Wholesale and auction partners, as necessary to complete the resale of a vehicle you sold to us
- Government agencies or legal authorities, when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, property, or users
Every service provider we work with is contractually required to protect your information and use it only for the purpose we authorize.
4. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including secure servers, access controls, and regular review of our security practices. No method of internet transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, so please use good judgment when sharing personal data online.
5. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, meet our legal, tax, or accounting obligations (for example, records tied to a completed vehicle purchase), or resolve disputes. Once we no longer have a legal or business reason to keep it, we delete or anonymize it.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we’ve collected about you, and how we’ve used and shared it
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete your personal information (see Section 7, “Full Deletion of Your Data”)
- Receive a portable copy of your data
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
- Appeal a denied privacy request, where state law provides for it
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy Request,” or use the contact form on our website. We will verify your identity before completing your request and will respond within the time required by applicable law (typically 45 days, extendable once by an additional 45 days if needed).
California Residents: The CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, gives California residents the rights listed above. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and add a “Your Privacy Choices” link and opt-out mechanism.
Texas Residents: The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) gives Texas residents the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal data, and to opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and certain profiling. We do not process or sell sensitive personal data without your consent.
Residents of Other States: If you live in a state with its own comprehensive privacy law (for example Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Oregon, or others), you have similar rights under that law, and we will honor privacy requests from consumers regardless of which state they live in.
7. Full Deletion of Your Data
If you ask us to delete your personal information, we will delete it from our active systems and instruct any service providers holding it on our behalf to do the same. The one exception: where the law requires us to keep specific records for a set period, such as financial, tax, or title-related records tied to a completed vehicle sale, we retain only what’s legally required and securely dispose of it once that period ends. We do not keep your data beyond what the law requires.
8. Children’s Privacy
Our services are intended for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we learn we’ve collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it.
9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to operate correctly, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use the site, including through analytics tools. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may affect how parts of the site function. We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the revised version here with a new “Last Updated” date. Please check back periodically.
